For our office in Amsterdam we are looking for an experienced and hands-on (digital) Marketeer who can improve the strategy, tactics and execution of DIG"s commercial position.You translate the company strategy in clear propositions, goals and messages and know how to approach different stakeholders via various channels. You deliver quality yourself and you know how, when and who to involve to get things done. You are an energetic and positive person and not afraid to roll your sleeves. Your responsibilities 

  • Translate the company strategy into a balanced and smart marketing plan (part of the commercial strategy) 
  • Create and implement inbound marketing strategies aimed to raise awareness of DIG as a thought leader in the insurtech industry
  • Boost lead acquisition through non-paid media channels (email, blogs, case studies, social media, YouTube channel, and whitepapers). 
  • Measure, report and analyse the campaigns to improve KPIs like visits, CTR, leads, CPA and implement strategies to increase conversion rates across ads, landing pages, marketing / social channels and tactics (e.g. Google Adwords, LinkedIn, Twitter, SEA, email marketing)
  • Own DIG’s website and social media accounts: post new content, update the existing one on a regular basis
  • Create a content calendar for each Q2019 (blogs, videos, case studies, social media posts, and whitepapers) and optimize existing content to raise conversions from organic search through on-page SEO and A/B testing experiments (blogs, product/features landing pages, whitepaper landing pages etc)
  • Securing publicity / placements for the company in the form of interviews, contributions and guest blogging capacities at a global scale 
  • Coordinate the creation of marketing material like presentations, videos, whitepapers and e-books, as well as promotions materials for conferences
  • Write and edit ptomotional content, such as email copy, ad copy, landing page copy, social media posts, case studies, blogs, press releases, “thought leadership" articles and whitepapers aimed to raise brand awareness 
  • Advising on the budget and level of company presence at conferences and similar events
  • Follow and report on market trends (and DIG’s position in it)  in relevant insurtech and digitisiation of the financial industry, providing idea generation around typically savvy perspectives

Requirements

Your profile 

  • A Bachelor / Master Degree in Business, Communication, Advertising or Marketing Management
  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in BtB marketing interacting with top quality customers and a solid understanding of marketing channels and performance, preferably in the fintech industry 
  • Experience in a tech and B2B environment, related to the financial industry is a plus
  • You have demonstrated results in building client relationships, and managing the entire marketing cycle / plan
  • You have a network of pre-existing PR and marketing contacts that can support when needed
  • You demonstrate superior interpersonal-, influencer-, and communication skills to multiple levels of the organization
  • You have strong attention to detail, solid analytical and organizational skills and you excel in critical thinking, creativity and problem solving 
  • You like to be the spokesperson of the company and you have excellent presentation skills 
  • You thrive within a dynamic, agile and fast-changing environment
  • You are pro-active, self starting and you have a can-do mentality
  • Previous budgetary responsibility is a plus
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills, other languages (German, Spanish is a plus)
